Annapurna Siklis Trek

The Siklis trek is one of the picturesque treks that unfold the natural beauty of Nepal. The charming villages, intriguing patterns of terraced fields, rhododendron forest, high alpine meadows nestled below the towering mountains of Annapurna II and IV are some of the key features of this trek.

The trekking route takes you to the region which is inhabited by the Gurung community upholding their old customs and traditions. A final high point reveals the magnificent views of the fish-tail peak of Machapuchare.

The Siklis trek offers the bird lovers a real treat to varieties of species of birds which are found in abundant in the forests of the Siklis region

Detail Itinerary of Siklis Trekking

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu International Airport. Transfer to the hotel and stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 02:  City sightseeing in and around Kathmandu valley (Kathmandu, Bhaktapur & Patan).Stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (914m.) takes about six hours.

Day 04: Drive from Pokhara to Bijayapur Khola (Bijayapur Army Camp)-Kalikasthan (1370m.) takes about five hours.

Day 05: Trek from Kalikasthan to LamaKhet (1680m.) takes about six hours.

Day 06: Trek from LamaKhet to Siklis (1980m.) and it takes approximately six hours.

Day 07: Trek from Siklis to Neuli Kharka or Forest camp (2200m.) takes about five hours.

Day 08: Trek from Forest Camp to Ghale Gaon (2000m.) and it takes about five hours.

Day 09: Trek from Ghale Gaon to Pokhara which takes about three hours. The supposed trek descends gently upto Hyamgja (1070m.).

Day 10: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu and it takes about seven hours.

Day 11:  Recreation & shopping day in Kathmandu. Stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu. 

Day 12: Transfer to the Airport for final departure (Fly out from Kathmandu).
