Lobuche Peak (4,950m) has two distinct summits, East and West bearing an elevation of 6119m and 6145m respectively. The east is considered as the ‘trekking peak’ whereas the west is known as an ‘Expedition peak’, both connected by a ridge.
To reach this Peak one must take a path to Everest Base Camp via Gorakh Shep. A climb of Kala patthar at 5550m, offers great views of Everest and good acclimatization and exercise before climbing Lobuche.
The Lobuche peak rises as a dark triangle entity above the marines of the Khumbu glacier. The East Lobuchhe is reached by descending a marked notch and then climbing steep snowy slopes to top. One can enjoy the view of Mt. Cholatse, Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Pumori, Mt. Everest and Tawachhe from the summit of Lobuchhe Peak.
Day 19: Departure
On your arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, you will be greeted with flower garlands/Khadas. Our representative will then take you to your hotel. If time prevails, you will visit office for paperwork.

Trip preparation and city tour of Kathmandu or Patan and Bhaktapur.
Today, you will visit popular world heritage monuments in Kathmandu including Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath, Swoyambhunath, and Pashupatinath. Alternatively, you can also choose Bhakatapur and Patan sightseeing. By late afternoon, you will drive back to your hotel.

After early morning breakfast, our guide will pick you up from the hotel and drive to the domestic airport terminal. Receive your boarding pass and fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2886m.) that takes about 35 minutes. The flight offers you up close views of the Himalayas and romantic landscapes of hills, farms and rivers.
On arrival to Lukla, you will begin 3 hours trek to Phakding (2640 m.). You start your trek from Lukla with a gentle climb up the mountainside on the left bank of the Dudh Koshi River. Mt. Nupla (5885m) which can be seen in the distance is a peak atop the Kongde Ridge. You descend a mountainside path that merges into your route to Everest, with views to a wonderful valley to your right; and Mt. Kusum Kang (6367m.) to the far end.

Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m.) takes approximately five hours.
Namche Bazaar (3440m) is surrounded on three sides by mountain ranges and opens out only where it faces the Bhote Koshi.

A day for rest at Namche Bazaar (3440m.) for acclimatization.
It is an ideal place to spend a rest day for acclimatization to the high altitude before heading off towards Tyangboche. For acclimatization you walk up to Khumjung where you can visit a monastery. You can also enjoy the splendid views of Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Nuptse, Lhotse, Tawoche, and Kwangde and so on. Or you can take an hour's walk up to Syangboche (3800m.) where Everest View Hotel is situated above Namche for an outstanding view of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Kusum Kangaru.

Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tyangboche (3867m.) takes about five hours.
As you climb through the forested zone, the incline eases and a splendid view appears. You continue climbing the mountainside diagonally until you come to the stone gate built by the lamas which marks your entry into Tyangboche (3860m).

Trek from Tyangboche to Pheriche (4240m.) takes approximately five hours.
Pheriche is a beautiful village and popular stop for trekking and climbing individuals. Medical clinic is also available there.

Trek from Pheriche to Lobuche (4940m.) takes about five and half hours.
The onward journey leads north for up to 50-minutes until you come to a Mani-prayer Stupa. The trail follows a downward path to Pheriche village. Today's walk offers views of the Mt.Tawache, Ama Dablam and to the north-Pokalde (5741m), Kongma-tse (5820m) and the great wall of Nuptse. After two hours walk, the trail from Pheriche joins near Dugla (4595m) before a small wooden bridge over the river of Khumbu glacier.

Trek from Lobuche to Lobuche Base Camp which takes about four hours.
After walking over flat about half way you begin to follow steep ascent path to reach Lobuche Base Camp. The path is quite rocky and it moves along the bank of Lobuche Glacier. While trekking, you can enjoy the spectacular views of Chola Tse, Tawoche, Ama Dablam, Pokalde, Thamserku, Kangtega and many more.

This day is acclimatization and for making necessary preparation for summit.

Summit and back to Base Camp and it takes about ten hours. At the summit you will catch panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Tawoche, Chola Tse, Pumori, Changri etc.

Trek from Lobuche Base Camp to Dingboche (4110m.) which takes about five hours. You trek all the way downhill passing Dugla. The spectacular views of Chola Tse, Tawoche, Ama Dablam, Pokalde, Thamserku, Kangtega and many more compensates you tiredness.

Trek from Dingboche to Tyangboche (3860m.) and it takes about four hours.
You trek gradual descent path till Deboche and from there by walking over ascent path for twenty minutes you reach destination. This day you are utterly enchanted by the spectacular views of Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Everest, Thamserku, Kangtega, and Lobuche and so on. En route you pass villages such as Pangboche and Shomare.

Trek from Tyangboche to Namche Bazaar (3440m.) takes about 4 hours.
From Tyangboche, the trail descends steeply and slightly towards Phunki Tenga (3250m.) crossing the Dudh Koshi. Now you have a glimpse of panoramic views of the great peaks of the Khumbu including Mt Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Kusum Kangaru. Passing by several villages and numerous teashops, the trail ascends steeply to Sanasa where local Sherpa people sell the Tibetan goods.

Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2886 m.) takes about six hours.
The last day of your trek leads from Namche Bazaar via Monjo to Lukla. The trek is pleasant, except for few short uphill climbs and then down to the Bhote- Koshi River crossing it three times. The last uphill climb of 45 minutes will bring you to Lukla for your overnight stay.

Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu. You take an early morning flight back to Kathmandu takes about 35 minutes.
