Pisang Peak (6091m) is situated towards the North of Manang Valley, the western part of Nepal, from where the Annapurna Circuit starts. Pisang is actually a village from where you can move for Pisang Peak but you must be fully prepared before you decide to be there for the peak climbing. Once you scale the Pisang Peak, you will be delighted as you will be gifted with the wonderful views of the beautiful mountains and the sceneries from the peak of the valley of Manang and the range of Annapurna.

Pisang Peak is not tricky to climb yet it is considered as a difficult one to scale because Pisang Peak is known for its slippery feature that might cause problems to the climbers.

The total duration for the Pisang Peak Climbing has been planned for 13 days. Besides Peak climbing, it is also famous for sightseeing and trekking. For the transportation, you can go through tourist bus or private car/ taxi or you can avail air services too.

The best season for the Pisang Peak Climbing is from March-July and September to early November. Pisang Peak is considered to be the most well liked and admired peak climbing by the trekkers, domestic and international. It is suitable for the beginners in terms of features but it also requires stamina and strength.

On your arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, you will be greeted with flower garlands/Khadas. Our representative will then take you to your hotel. If time prevails, you will visit office for paperwork.

Trip preparation and city tour of Kathmandu or Patan and Bhaktapur.

Today, you will visit popular world heritage monuments in Kathmandu including Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath, Swoyambhunath, and Pashupatinath. Alternatively, you can also choose Bhakatapur and Patan sightseeing.  By late afternoon, you will drive back to your hotel.

After early morning breakfast, our guide will pick you up from the hotel and drive from Kathmandu to Bhulbhule via Besisahar, takes about eight hours.

Trek from Bhulbhule to Chamje (1410m.) takes about seven hours.

Ahead the Marshyangdi valley forms a steep V-shape. Follow the winding mountain path down to Syange (1100m) and then climb steeply through sheer cliff-face some 200-300m above the riverbed. From here it is a few ups and downs before you reach Chamje.

Trek from Chamje (1410m) to Dharapani (1960m) takes about six hours.

The first part of the trail descends to the Marshyangdi River at which point cross a suspension bridge and make a steep climb to Sattale (1550m). From here descend to a grassy riverbank that leads to the village of Tal (1700m) with its hotels and teahouses and a waterfalls. Beyond Tal, the valley narrows and the path takes to winding cliffs. Pass through the small village of Karte (1900m.) and cross a suspension bridge as you approach the Mani entrance to Dharapani (1960m.).

Trek from Dharapani to Chame (2675m.) takes about five and half hours.

Trek along the Dudh Khola that originates from the south face of Manaslu. With Annapurna II as your backdrop you will arrive at the village of Bagarchhap, distinct with its prayer flags fluttering in the breeze and Buddhist monastery. Continue to climb through forests of pine and oak, before passing by Danaque (2210m.). The trail goes through flat path until you reach Chame where there are government offices, shops and hotels. Chame is the administrative headquarters for the Manang district.

Trek from Chame to Pisang (3100m.) takes about five hours.

With Lamjung Himal (6893m) sparkling in the morning sun, you climb the path up the valley, passing a huge apple orchard. The trail then enters fir and pine forest, and emerging out to a high, rocky cliff which is extremely steep that leads to Bhratang (2950m.). You now walk through a short stretch of pine forest as the path opens up to a wonderful vista of Annapurna II as well as Pisang Peak (6091m.). Afterwards follow a long section of Mani wall to lower village of Pisang.

Trek from Pisang to Pisang Base Camp takes about six hours.

The trail is steep ascent passing through Upper Pisang. En route you cross forests of pine and local vegetation. The views of Annapurna rang welcome you.

Trek from Pisang Base Camp to Pisang High Camp takes about four hours.

You trek along rocky glacier path to High Camp. You will be completely charmed by the panoramic views of Annapurna range, Chulu East, Chulu Far East, Nawal peak, Tilicho peak and many other unnamed mountains and peaks.

Summit to Pisang peak and back to Pisang Base Camp takes about ten hours.

At the summit of Pisang peak, you can have closer panoramic views of Annapurna range, Chulu East, Chulu Far East, Nawal peak, Tilicho peak, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Tibetan mountains, Kang Guru Peak, Gyaji Kang peak, Tilje peak, Kuchubhro peak and many more.

Trek from Pisang Base Camp to Pisang takes about four hours.

The trail moves steeply down all the way to Pisang. The view of Annapurna range accompanies you.

Trek from Pisang to Dharapani takes about 7 hours.

Today you will set off for Dharapani by making a descent to around 2500m. The trail initially offers beautiful views of Annapurna and Manaslu ranges passing through the village of Chame. There is a huge waterfall near Chame. Further ahead the trail descends down to the Bhotia villages of Dhayaku and Bagarchap, the last stop before reaching Dharapani.

Trek from Dharapani to Jagat (1800m) takes about six hours.

You trek all the way over a descended path along the bank of Dudh Khola (river) and Marshyangdi River. On the way, you walk through pleasant villages such as Taal is an attractive village with a pretty waterfall and you can enjoy the sight of lush green hills. Eventually, you come across Jagat is a stone village situated on a shelf, that juts into the precipitous Marshyangdi valley.

Drive from Jagat to Kathmandu takes about eight hours.

It is a picturesque drive on the way back to Kathmandu along the banks of the Marshyangdi and Trishuli rivers with splendid views of green hills, mountains, farming terraces and colorful villages on both sides of road.
