Naya Kanga (5,844m.) is a technically difficult mountain to climb situated in the Langtang Himalayan Range south of the Gosainkunda Frozen Lake. It was formerly known as Ganja La Chuli. Spectacular view of mountains near Tibet can be observed from the top of the peak. On your arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, you will be greeted with flower garlands/Khadas. Our representative will then take you to your hotel. If time prevails, you will visit office for paperwork.

Trip preparation and city tour of Kathmandu or Patan and Bhaktapur.
Today, you will visit popular world heritage monuments in Kathmandu including Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath, Swoyambhunath, and Pashupatinath. Alternatively, you can also choose Bhakatapur and Patan sightseeing. By late afternoon, you will drive back to your hotel.

After early morning breakfast, our guide will pick you up from your hotel to bus station.
Drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Besi which takes about nine hours. You head north out of Kathmandu driving through scenic foothills and ridgeline vistas to Syabru Besi passing through Dhunche.

Trek from Syabru Besi (1600m.) to Lama Hotel (2470m.) takes about five and half hours.
The first part of the trail crosses through Bhote Koshi and follows the Langtang Khola. This trail gradually ascends up to Bamboo passing through landslide. Thereafter, your trek ascends gently to Rimche (2400m.) through Bamboo (1960m.) which lies at the bank of Langtang Khola.

Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang village (3430m.) via Ghore Tabela takes about six hours.
As you continue climbing there are occasional glimpses of Langtang Lirung between the trees. At Ghora Tabela [3000m], the trail emerges from the forest. Once there was a Tibetan resettlement project here, but now it is a Nepalese army post though it has no permanent inhabitants. The trail continues to climb gently and the valley widens, passing a few temporary settlements used by herders who bring their livestock to graze in the high pastures during the summer months.

Trek from Langtang Village to Kyangjin (3870m.) takes about three hours.
The trail climbs gradually through small villages and yak pastures as the valley opens out further and the views become more extensive. After crossing several small streams and moraines, the trail reaches the settlement at Kyangjin. Here, there is a small monastery and a government-operated cheese factory. You arrive at Kyangjin by lunch time allowing time to acclimatize and explore the area.

Rest day at Kyangjin Gompa and we do some excursions in and around the area.
This is a day to rest and explore the area. You can visit the monastery and the cheese factory, walk up the moraine to see the spectacular ice faces and tumbling glaciers of Langtang Lirung or ascend Kyangjin Ri (4350m.), directly behind the village, for a breathtaking panorama of the Langtang peaks.

Trek from Kyangjin Gompa to Naya Kanga Kharka (4430m.) takes about five hours.
After descending for about twenty minutes you cross a suspension bridge over Langtang Khola and then the trail moves uphill all the way to Nyengang Kharka. On both sides of your path you find juniper shrubs. You can enjoy the views of Langtang Lirung and Langtang Lirung glacier.

Trek from Naya Kanga Kharka to Naya Kanga High Camp (4960m.) takes about four hours.
The trail is steep ascent until you reach High Camp. You trek along the rocky and icy glacier. This day also you can enjoy the views of Langtang Lirung, Tserko ri, Ganchenpo peak, Kibgyu Ri, Yansi Tsenji peak and few others.

Rest day at Naya Kanga High Camp. This is an acclimatization day so that you can make preparation for Naya Kang summit.

Climb the Naya Kang peak (5844 m.) and descend back to Naya Kanga Kharka takes about ten hours. Stay overnight at camp.
Trek from Nyengang Kharka to Kyangjin Gompa takes about four hours.
You trek downhill until you cross a suspension bridge over Langtang Khola. Now, you ascend for about twenty minutes to reach Kyangjin Gompa.

Trek from Kyangjin Gompa to Lama Hotel (2470m.) it takes about six hours.
From Kyangjin you retrace your route, following the Langtang Khola to Langtang village and on to Ghora Tabela. After lunch, you continue the steep descent to Lama Hotel.

Trek from Lama Hotel to Syabru Besi via Sherpa Gaon takes about five hours.
The upper part of the trail is more beautiful for the panoramic view of mountains and green hill views. This path is broader and remains sunny through the different Sherpa and Tamang villages. The first half part of the trail is gradually down and then the trail does steeply descent to the Syabru Besi (1600m.). The main inhabitants belong to Tamang community and they have adopted Tibetan lifestyle.

Drive from Syabru Besi to Kathmandu by bus, takes about nine hours.
You drive through scenic foothills and ridgeline vistas to Kathmandu. The first part of your drive up to Trishuli Bazaar is through gravel and bumpy road and then well paved road up to Kathmandu.
